In Memory Of Dan Wildenhaus
Dan was a renaissance man of building science.

As the technical lead of the US Heat Pump Summit’s conference session selection committee, Dan’s deep knowledge of every system in the building, and his passion for understanding every aspect of all of them was self evident.

While this knowledge brought clear direction to our efforts planning this Summit, his joyous and energizing personality brought smiles and laughter to our planning calls.

He’d show up to meetings giddy after talking with a potential presenter with a neat new idea.
Dan was possibly the most excited person for the third US Heat Pump Summit. He presented at the second Summit in 2024 and became a good friend of ours after that.

Anyone in life is lucky to experience the joy in their work that Dan did, and we are incredibly fortunate he touched our lives.

Please celebrate Dan’s legacy and dedication  during your time at the US Heat Pump Summit, and honor him with doing quality, comprehensive work in the home.
